26/11/2020 (AFTERNOON): ETLC WEBINAR on the future of transport, travel & tourism in Europe
Dear Colleagues,
We have the pleasure to invite you to a Webinar of the European Trade Union Liaison Committee on Tourism (ETLC) on the future of transport, travel & tourism in Europe, which will take place on Thursday, 26 November 2020 from 2 to 4 pm.
EFFAT, ETF and UNI Europa and their affiliates in hospitality, transport, tour operators and travel agencies, will discuss the actual situation in tourism due to COVID-19, activities undertaken to mitigate the impact on workers and jobs, and joint initiatives to make our voices heard at European level for the recovery of tourism.
Main items on the agenda will be:
- Brief overview on the situation in our respective tourism-related sectors due to COVID-19
- Activities undertaken so far to mitigate the impact on employment and the sector
- Our demands and proposals to institutions, governments, companies / employers for recovery and a more sustainable and socially responsible tourism in future
- Future joint actions
In order to allow in-depth discussions, we will provide simultaneous interpretation as follows: Active: EN FR DE ES and Passive: IT DA
