Belgian Trade Unions are very concerned about the employment situation in the hotel and catering industry. The coronavirus crisis shows its socio-economic effects in the short and long term. For workers, it means a reduction in income today and a serious risk of dismissal tomorrow.
The trade union organisations are therefore calling for a moratorium on redundancies in order to save jobs and prevent the skills drain.
