EFFAT, ETF and UNI Europa, cooperating in the European Trade Union Liaison Committee on Tourism (ETLC), are signatories to the European Tourism Manifesto Alliance, and support the Commission proposal for a coordinated approach to the restriction of free movement in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to provide more clarity and a better predictability of any measures, which is essential to rebuild travellers’ confidence and to help the tourism and transport sector in its slow recovery, protecting millions of livelihoods, jobs, and enterprises.
