We are pleased to invite you to register participants to the distance training on Gender Equality and Diversity. The training is organized in the framework of a large-scale EU-funded project Build trade union power to create a fairer Europe led by EFFAT in partnership with the Programme for Workers’ Activities at the International Training Centre of the ILO.

The training consists of 4 weeks of E-learning combining scheduled webinars as well as self-paced studying via video lectures and messages, tutor-led short individual and group exercises, self-guided materials, reading assignments, case studies, problem solving, quizzes etc. amounting to the total of 4 days of learning over 4 weeks. There will be one webinar per week of approximately 1.5 hours (maximum 2 h) duration. Estimated study time is 6 hours per week (webinars included).

Target group: Women networks – equality officers, trade union organizers, educators

Working languages: English, French and Spanish

The training will cover the following modules:

Module 1:
Mindset & Breaking Myths (8-12 March
E-campus orientation
Gender equality and women’s empowerment
Sustainable development goal 5 (Agenda 2030)

Module 2:
ILO and EFFAT tools and instruments (15-19 March)
Equal pay
Violence and harassment

Module 3:
ILO and EFFAT tools and instruments (22-26 March)
Diversity and inclusion

Module 4:
Lessons Learned, Application of Knowledge & Tools (29 March-2 April)
Collection of good trade union practices in gender mainstreaming and inclusion
Promotion of women in decision-making
Action points for trade unions
