For the Attention of the EFFAT Members of the Steering Committee of the Contract Catering SSDC
We have the pleasure to invite you to the virtual EFFAT-FSE SSDC SC meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, 21 June 2022 from 10 am to 12.30 pm. There will be no preparatory meeting.
The videoconference is planned via Webex and you are kindly requested to connect around 9.45 am to test the EC connection and your equipment.
Working language will be English and no interpretation will be provided.
Attached you will find the official invitation and agenda. Further working documents and the Webex link to the meeting will be sent in due time.
Main items on the agenda will be :
- COVID-19 & the future of work in the contract catering sector: recent developments & impact on the sector; possible joint initiative on increasing the attractiveness of the sector
- EFFAT-FoodServiceEurope Guide “Guide to the economically most advantageous offer in contract catering” in line with the new EU Public Procurement legislation: Next steps to disseminate the Guide at European and national levels and to promote its use; leverage the Guide in future EU public procurement initiatives, such as those included in the Farm to Fork Strategy
- Qualification & Training Initiatives: update on the Pact for Skills ·& the Next Tourism Generation project
- Fight against sexual harassment: Update initiatives in Member States & companies
- Preparation Plenary meeting 28/9/2022 & AOB
